First Day

On the first day of 2nd semester when I said hi to my teacher and walked in. The room was a new room that i have never been in. I looked around at all of the things on the wall and then sat by my friend. The class sat in the quite for around 10 min. We all were trying to be quite but everyone was talking softly still. Then my teacher started talking about the norms of society and how if a room is quite no one wants to be that one to break it. We also learned that people say things but really mean something els. For example; when we are talking about an object we say things like an old brick phone, but really it is not made out of brick. We say this because we think it looks like another item and making connections but in reality we shouldn't do this because someone might not know what we are really trying to say. The first day got me excited for the rest of the year! :)
